From August 25-26, 2021, the Governor's Office of Economic Development is partnering with several organizations to bring resources to more local and rural Utah businesses.
Event Information
As Utah is gearing up to get back to business, the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, in partnership with the Utah Small Business Administration and the Small Business Development Center, are teaming up to focus on bridging economic prosperity to rural communities and small towns throughout Utah.

The Small Business Resource Roadshow will visit six different communities to help inform business owners of the array of support, training, and financing options available to help them succeed.

“The Governor’s Office of Economic Development is pleased to be a part of this Roadshow and looks forward to increasing awareness of federal, state, and local resources that support startups, business expansion and retention, business operations, funding, training and more,” said Ryan Starks, the office’s managing director of Business Services. “We’re excited to partner with the SBA and the SBDC to increase awareness of these essential small business services.”

The Small Business Resource Roadshow will stop in six locations and host events that focus on connecting the right resource partners to the business owners who need that specific type of assistance. The SBA is also partnering with the Women’s Business Center to provide a virtual roadshow option for communities not visited this year and any individuals who cannot make it to public events.
