Colombia is the 4th largest economy in the region and has the third-largest population with approximately 50 million inhabitants. Since the implementation of the U.S.-Colombia Trade Promotion Agreement (TPA) with the United States in 2012, the majority of U.S. medical equipment exports to Colombia receive duty-free treatment. The U.S. Commercial Service is inviting cutting-edge medical devices companies to join this virtual discussion to hear directly from the Medical Device´s Chamber of ANDI (the National Business Association of Colombia) and INVIMA (Colombia's regulatory authority) about the Colombian market for medical devices and to learn about regulations and registration process of medical devices in Colombia.
