This session will explore market observations and highlight industry trends and developments. Why Taiwan? This market plans to generate 20% of its energy from renewable energy by 2025—up from 5% in 2020. Target capacities seek to add 10 GW of offshore wind capacity from 2026 to 2035 and 20 GW of solar energy by 2025. Together these projects are estimated to exceed $80 billion U.S. dollars.
